Carlton have regained six big names for Saturday night's elimination final against Brisbane at the Gabba but star forward Charlie Curnow isn't one of them.
And in other big selection news for week one of the AFL finals, GWS will be without Toby Bedford (calf), while Sydney welcome back Tom Papley and Isaac Heeney but dropped Taylor Adams.
The Blues already revealed earlier this week that veteran Sam Docherty would make a fairytale return just six months after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament.

But the glaring absence was Curnow, who hasn't played since injuring his ankle in the calamitous 74-point loss to Hawthorn on August 11.

Brisbane welcomed back Jack Payne and Brandon Starcevich from injury, with Darragh Joyce and Harry Sharp the two players forced to make way.
Bedford was expected to return from a calf injury against the Swans in Saturday night's qualifying final at the SCG, but he wasn't able to prove his fitness, robbing GWS of their go-to tagger.
Giants forward Jake Riccardi, who has recovered from a finger injury, has been named as an emergency.
GWS have been boosted by the return of Brent Daniels, Lachie Ash and Isaac Cumming, with Harvey Thomas, Callum Brown and Nick Haynes losing their places.

Hawthorn lost midfielder Cam Mackenzie to a hamstring injury ahead of Friday night's elimination final against the Western Bulldogs, while emerging star Will Day (collarbone) isn't ready for a return just yet.
Hawks defender Changkuoth Jiath was overlooked for selection despite making his return from injury in the VFL last week.
In Hawthorn's only change, Josh Ward comes into the side to replace Mackenzie.
The Western Bulldogs have been boosted by the return of James Harmes for his first AFL match since May 31, while Adam Treloar retains his spot despite his recent calf issues.
