Fremantle forward Josh Treacy has laughed off his horror shank from last week and is confident he will be "nailing" his set shots in Sunday's home clash with Gold Coast.
Treacy has built a reputation as being one of the most accurate goalkickers in the AFL, but he had a rare off day in last week's 67-point loss to the Western Bulldogs.
The 21-year-old clipped the post with a close-range set shot early in the second quarter, but it was his 20m set shot shank later that term that would easily sit on a bloopers reel.
Treacy's foot appeared to scuff the ground as he unleashed the kick, with the ball spraying wildly to the left and only just sneaking in for a behind.
The powerful forward finished the game with 2.3 in the losing cause.
But with a super accurate 26.9 to his name this year, Treacy knows his set shot woes against the Bulldogs were merely an anomaly.
"I've had a laugh. That's the best way to move on," Treacy said of his shank.
"I'm still not sure what to put it down to, but we just move on.
"It (goalkicking) is something I pride myself on. I know this week I'll be going back and nailing as many as I can."
Fremantle players have copped plenty of criticism in the wake of last week's flop against the Bulldogs, and Treacy is confident they will make amends against the Suns.
"We've had two opportunities to train this week, which have been quite fiery and up and about and really disciplined," Treacy said.
"Hopefully that holds us in a good position this weekend to come out firing.
"There's certainly a lot more boys on alert after last week."
Treacy will reach his 50-game milestone when he runs out against the Suns.
Fremantle suffered a blow on Friday when defender Brandon Walker was ruled out through illness.
Heath Chapman (hamstring tightness) and Corey Wagner return, while Hugh Davies has been handed an AFL debut.
Dockers forward Michael Walters will miss three to four weeks with a hamstring injury, while Josh Draper was dropped.
Gold Coast will welcome back Wil Powell after the winger served his five-match ban for making a homophobic slur.
Co-captain Jarrod Witts is back from injury, and he's been joined in the side by Brandon Ellis, Sam Day and Jake Rogers among five changes.
Star forward Ben King (knee) was ruled out in a massive blow to Gold Coast's victory hopes.
