A search is under way for a man who may be armed and travelling on a dirt bike, after a fatal stabbing in western Sydney.
Emergency crews attended a home at St Clair about 4.30pm on Friday where they found a man unconscious with serious injuries.
Police rendered aid until paramedics arrived, however he was unable to be saved and died at the scene.
Another man had come to the property and became involved in an argument with the man, before stabbing him and fleeing, police say.
Two females at the home at the time of the incident were not physically injured but were assessed by paramedics.
Police are searching for the man on Friday night, who may still be armed and riding a dirt bike.
He is described as being in his mid 20s, of African appearance with a solid build and short black dreadlocks, police said.
Anyone who sights the man is urged not to approach him, and to call triple zero.
