Jakara Anthony has completed one of the great seasons in any winter sport in fittingly brilliant style, the Australian freestyle skier sealing an incredible 14th World Cup moguls win of 2023/24.
Now she's worried about getting all of her trophies home.
In the season-ending dual moguls event at the Italian resort of Chiesa in Valmalenco, the 25-year-old defeated her biggest rival Jaelin Kauf once more to finish with 14 victories from 16 moguls events - seven wins each in the dual and singles formats.
“It’s seriously crazy," Anthony said of her trophy-laden campaign.
"I’m going to have some big luggage issues getting back to Australia tomorrow."
US skier Kauf beat Anthony to the finish by one-hundredth of a second on Saturday, but the Australian scored heavily with her turns and aerial manoeuvres to win by 20 points to 15.
It was her fifth consecutive final victory over the luckless American.
Anthony successfully defended her overall moguls title with a massive 1480 points - 416 clear of Kauf.
The Olympic champion from Barwon Heads in Victoria also took the individual crystal globes in the singles and dual moguls with record scores.
Kauf finished runner-up behind Anthony in all three categories.
“The season’s been absolutely wild," Anthony said.
"It’s hard to put it into words, I’m super-proud of what I’ve been able to achieve with my team around me."
Worryingly for her rivals, the dominant Australian has already turned her focus to the future.
“World championships gold is about the only thing I don’t have now, and then we’ve got Milano-Cortina coming up, the first dual moguls in the Olympics," she said.
“We’re going to keep ticking along just like we (have been), try to change things every year and get better."
In the equivalent men's event, Canadian great Mikael Kingsbury landed his 90th World Cup win, recording his 10th triumph of the season to sweep the dual and overall moguls titles.
